Location

The Mala Strana quarter, rebuilt in the 16th century by skilled Italian architects following the characteristic Baroque and Renaissance style, is part of the Prague entrenched in the past, which forbids driving and becomes magical when the sun sets, an irresistible occasion for a romantic stroll past shops and restaurants until reaching the sight of the dome of the Church of Saint Nicholas.

In the immediate vicinity, from Mala Strana Square starts a hill which leads to Nerudova street and the splendid Prague Castle, the most visited sight in the country, now the residence of the President of the Republic. Surrounded by 40 hectares of gardens, St. Vitus Cathedral is located within its Medieval walls; the tower of the Cathedral offers a lovely view of the city.

How to reach us

By train
After arriving at the main train Prague train station (Hlavni Nadrazi), take tram 9 to get to the hotel, it is the seventh stop and takes around 15 minutes; from Holesovice station, take tram 12 to the eighth stop, the journey takes about 20 minutes. The tram stop (Svandovo divadlo) where you get off is only 50 m from Kinsky Garden Hotel.

By plane
From the Prague airport, take bus 119 to the end of the line (Dejvicka), then take tram 20 to the Svandovo divadlo stop, Kinsky Garden Hotel is 50 m away.  Alternatively, you can take a cab which takes 25/30 minutes to get to the hotel; Kinsky Garden Hotel provides a transfer service to/from the airport for a fixed rate of 600 Czech crowns (around 24 euro).

By car
From the main freeways head towards the center of Prague following the signs for Kinsky Gardens; we are located at 7 Holeckova Street, the street which runs along the southeast side of the park.
